Organisational Meeting(Alumni Meet-Get Together)

A formal meeting was convened by Navodaya Action Group at Central Park New Delhi on 27th April 2008.The sole purpose of the meeting was to build the organisation strong not only in the form of adding more and more Navodaya Alumni as a member but also to have a fair discussion among alumni to realise the objective of N A G.

Around 55-60 Navodaya Alumni from various Navodaya across the country have participated in the meeting and given their valuable suggestions and promised to contribute to society through N A G.

We were fortunate to have some Navodaya  Teachers with us in the meeting as they had come here for their own demonstration to Govt. of India at Jantar Mantar.

The agenda of the meeting were :

1. To discuss the issue related to achieve the goals of N A G

2. To find the core area of concern from where we need to start the campaign

3. To make the organisation robust and global

4. To discuss how to start working at the grass root level

5. To make new people aware about the N A G and its objectives and take their valuable inputs

Proceedings: started at 4:30pm and continued till 8:30pm

The agenda and purpose of the N A G were presented by the one of the N A G founder member which was followed by the formal introduction of the individuals and then a real  enthusiastic discussion started in which all the members present have taken part positively.

Conclusion:

The discussion ended with the promise to work at grass root level and to distribute the responsibility among the members. The members newly joined have come forward to work positively for the society.

The meeting was a formal one to interact with the new members of N A G. The meeting was followed by a small party. In this meeting, the members present introduced themselves and discuss the issues like the objectives of N A G and its implementation.After the discussion a proper functioning mechanism of  N A G was devised.
